Srimad Bhagavad Gita is the supreme knowledge delivered to human beings by Bhagavan Sri Krishna in the form of conversation between Bhagavan Sri Krishna and Sri Arjuna. There are other gitas available, among which Srimad Bhagavad Gita is considered as the supreme gita given by Bhagavan. There are 18 chapters present in Srimad Bhagavad Gita explaining in details various yogas- Karma, jyana, sankya, bhakthi and sanyasam. The glories of Gita in described in Varaha purana say that  regular study of Srimad Bhagavad Gita relieves a person from samsara chakram(birth -death life cycle).   Just as the water stains not the lotus leaf, even so sins do not taint him who is regular in the recitation of the Gita.  It was spoken by the blessed Lord Krishna, the all-knowing, through His own mouth, to Arjuna. It contains the essence of the Vedas-the knowledge of the Reality. It is full of supreme bliss. All the sacred centres of pilgrimage, like Prayag and other places, dwell in that place where the Gita is kept, and where the Gita is read and recited. Bhagavan declares that Gita is HIS aboard, and that HE protects the three worlds with the knowledge of the Gita. The Gita is HIS highest science, which is doubtless of the form of Brahman, the Eternal, the Ardhamatra (of the Pranava Om), the ineffable splendour of the Self. He who recites the eighteen chapters of the Bhagavad Gita daily, with a pure and unshaken mind, attains perfection in knowledge, and reaches the highest state or supreme goal. By repeated study of the Gita, he attains liberation. Uttering the word Gita at the time of death, a person attains liberation. He who meditates on the meaning of the Gita, having performed many virtuous actions, attains the supreme goal after death. Such an individual should be considered a true Jivanmukta.

Sampoorna Srimad Bhagavad Gita parayanam (recital of all the chapters of Srimad Bhagavad Gita) is very auspecious and will bestow upon the devotee mukthi upon reciting all the slokas. Srimad Bhagavad Gita jayanthi( it is day when Bhagavan Sri Krishna spoke Gita to Sri Arjuna) falls in December of every year. Please identify the day in calendar and do Sampoorna Srimad Bhagavad Gita parayanam for the highest  benefit.

||Om Namo Narayanaya||

Please chant "NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA" as much as possible every day.
